Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

We collect the following information when you use LinkedIn Tracker:

  • Account data — your email address, display name, and profile picture, provided when you sign in with Google or email magic link.
  • Contact records — names, LinkedIn profile URLs, companies, roles, connection statuses, and notes you enter manually or save via the browser extension.
  • Job records — job listings you save, including title, company, and URL.
  • Usage data — request logs generated automatically by our hosting infrastructure (Cloudflare Workers) for security and performance purposes.
  • Payment data — if you upgrade to Pro, Stripe processes your payment details. We never see or store your full card number.

2. How We Use Your Data

  • To provide and operate the LinkedIn Tracker service.
  • To send authentication emails (magic links). We do not send marketing emails.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
  • To detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access.

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

LinkedIn Tracker relies on the following sub-processors:

4. Cookies & Sessions

We use HTTP-only session cookies set by Supabase to keep you signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies are used. You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings, which will sign you out.

5. Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your contact records and personal data are deleted within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate data may be retained for longer for operational analysis.

6. Your Rights

You may at any time:

  • Export or request a copy of your data.
  • Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
  • Correct inaccurate information in your profile.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security on all database tables, and hashed API keys. No system is perfectly secure — if you discover a vulnerability, please disclose it responsibly to tyler@tylervovan.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, the effective date at the top will change. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
